Algonquin park, Oxtongue River
Algonquin Provincial Park, located in central Ontario, Canada, about a three hour drive north of Toronto, is a beautiful place for outdoor adventures. The Algonquin park offers more than 7,600 square kilometers (close to 3,000 sq. miles) of untouched forest with rocky hills and ridges, thousands of lakes, endless streams and rivers and a wide variety of wildlife. Highway 60 runs through the southern part of the park offering gorgeous scenery from both sides of the road. Algonquin Park is an excellent place for outdoor photography, especially in the Fall. You also can hike, rent a canoe or kayak or take a bike for a ride through one of the trails.
